Back in 2015 we reviewed the brilliant Lost My Name book which was so good that it still brings a tear to my eye when we read it.
Now they have brought out a new personalised book called The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home which follows a curious little explorer from outer space right to their own front door.
The special thing about this book is that it includes a satellite view of your actual neighbourhood, and it’s so incredibly personalised that it can only belong to one child.
The story has really resonated with parents and children and they’ve sold over 1.5 million copies already and the now legendary Tim Peake recently read it from space!
The book is simple to order, simply enter your child’s name and select whether they are a girl or boy. You then get to choose an image of your character how he or she will appear in the book. The final thing to add is your address so that they can get a satellite picture of the area which you live and you can also add a dedication the child if you wish.
We love the story and it is simple enough for Eliza to read (with help) and is the perfect story for bedtime. The kids love being able to see their house and school towards the end of the story as it makes it seem as if the journey really did happen.
The book is great quality, with colourful illustrations and the only amendment I would like to see is the addition of siblings, but we add them into the story ourselves anyway.
Thanks to the team at The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home I have a personalised book to giveaway to one lucky reader!
