This week was back to school week for two out of three children in my house. Poor Eliza is most upset that she didn’t get to start at the same time as the boys and is busily preparing for next Monday and very very first day at school.

The kids didn’t start back until Thursday, so we made the most of the final few days of the holiday. On Bank Holiday Monday we visited Portland Bill and its infamous lighthouse.

Last week we were lucky enough to be invited to the launch of LEGO Jurassic World and the kids couldn’t wait to get their faces painted.  The face paint lady got a measure of Eliza straight away and decided to paint a “Chattersaurus” which opened and closed its mouth as Eliza spoke.  What do you think it was saying here?

Last weekend we were in Devon and visited a replica of The Golden Hind in Brixham where the kids got to channel their inner pirates.
