Zero Water Filtration Jug Review

Every new year I vow to drink more water to try and improve my health, but have to admit that I am not keen on the taste of our tap water, so it normally fizzles out very quickly.

A lack of water intake can cause headache’s, stress, lack of sleep or even muscle strain due to bad posture.

Drinking bottled water can be more expensive than a litre of petrol and bad for the environment, due to all the plastic packaging, however, there is an easy fix to save money by using the leading water filter brand on the market. ZeroWater’s filtration jug has been created to make drinking perfectly filtered water easier.

ZeroWater is the only gravity-fed filtration system to match the TDS levels found in purified bottle water, the result is great-tasting water, straight from the tap. The average glass of tap water contains large amounts of lead, heavy metals, or chromium. ZeroWater removes 99.6% of all toxins.

The ZeroWater filtration system combines FIVE sophisticated technologies that work together to remove virtually all dissolved solids from your tap water, delivering you great tasting water. ZeroWater filters are also the only pour-through filters on the market certified by the NSF to reduce lead.

All the jugs in the range come with a TDS Meter, which measures the concentration of dissolved solid particles in the water, so you can test the water and know when is best to change the filters. Our tap water measures 215, which is classed as a high contaminate level.

We were sent the 10 cup jug to review, which has a handy tap on the back of the jug, so the kids can easily fill their water bottles without having to try and lift the jug up to pour the water out.

My only problem with this size of jug is that it does not fit in my fridge as it is too wide, however, there is a smaller 7 cup jug which is designed for fridge doors.

We keep our jug on the worktop and then pop our water bottles in the fridge to chill them and I now top up the built-in water dispenser in our BEKO Fridge Freezer using the filtered water.

Zerowater is available in range of sizes to suit all homes/offices prices start from just £24.99 from Zerowater.co.uk, replacement filters cost from £14.99 for a pack of two or £19.99 for four.

  1. I do like the look of this. We have a different water filter but it doesn’t have the tap at the back so I don’t let the children pour it as it spills everywhere.
