There is something about nesting blocks that really capture children’s imagination and Sebastian is no different.
We were sent the Petit Collage Woodland ABC Nesting Blocks to review as part of our #PlayPatrol mission for BigJigs Toys and the kids couldn’t wait to get started.
There are 10 nesting and stacking blocks inside, featuring the alphabet in a woodland theme. If you stack the cubes in the correct way you can even build a tree.
These stacking blocks are great for teaching children fine motor skills (and gross for knocking the tower back down again), recognition of patterns, the ability to follow sequences, spacial relationships and number and letter recognition.
The Nesting blocks contains 10 cubes made with recycled materials printed on 5 sides with vegetable based inks and measures almost 3 feet tall when fully assembled so you can be sure you are looking after the environment too.
I love these Blake got a Melissa and Doug set last year for his birthday which he loves knocking over.
The design of the cubes looks interesting and like it would hold interest for sometime beyond building and knocking over!
The cubes sounds great and look cute. My little man would love them.
It’s great that the cubes are made out of recycled materials and even better that when arranged in the correct way they form a tree. This way, besides a toy, then can be used to teach children about nature and the importance of recycling.
These look fantastic, with those lovely pictures and colours on them.
I love the designs and colours on these – and it’s great that they’re made from recycled materials too!
I love that the cubes are made from recycled materials especially if parents are trying to be environmentally conscious and be more sustainable!
I love the illustrations on the side, the recycled element and the face that these toys stack away to nothing! I want!
I used to play with these when i was younger, i love that the cubes are made of recycle material, it can teach your child the importance of recycling and respecting the environment.
Brilliant! Kids love stacking stuff, knocking it over and animals too, so I imagine this will be very popular!
These are so cute. I do love nesting blocks as they really do teach your child that one toy can have many outcomes if you use your imagination. From the way you build things, to matching up the sides. x
