Walking on a cloud with Wolkyshop and #win

I am a big fan of comfortable shoes but they have to be stylish too.

The days of me wearing heels has well and truly gone as I am in agony just trying to stand in them, never mind walk, but being only 5ft 3″ sometimes I long for a little bit of extra height.

I have just been introduced to the Dutch shoe brand, Wolkyshop, who are now in the UK and invited me to try a pair of their shoes. Wolky means ‘cloud’ in Dutch, something which the shoes’ creators have drawn on – making the wearer feel like they are walking on a cloud.

Wolkyshop is a household name in Holland where they have 11 shops, another in Germany and they launched over here last month when they opened up their first UK store in Brighton. Wolkyshop specialises in high-quality comfortable shoes in a range of fashionable styles and colours. They work closely with their manufacturer to ensure that each handmade, high quality leather shoe fits the customer’s requirements and their aim is to produce stylish and comfortable kicks.

Looking through their wide variety of shoe styles I was drawn to the Silky Shoe, which is a Mary-Jane style of shoe. They come in six colours and I decided that the beige suede would fit best with the coloured clothes I wear.

Not only do these shoes have a gentle platform to give me a little bit of extra height, but they also have removable, anatomically shaped footbeds which mould to the feet with an extra layer of memory foam for ultimate comfort. They are fully leather lined and the buckle is just for show, they actual do up with velcro which makes them quick and easy to put on too.

These shoes are super comfortable to wear and look great teamed with jeans or a skirt.

The team at Wolkyshop have offered the chance for one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of shoes their choice.

  1. Oh wow, what a wonderful selection! I struggle with sciatica and have a nightmare finding funky comfy shoes so this range is a revelation. I’m torn between the Silky or the Ontario being my favourite on first viewing, could see me getting loads of wear out of both
