Palma
From personal experience, Mallorca’s capital Palma is beautiful, with lots of lovely architecture, including the magnificent cathedral, quaint shops and little restaurants to eat. The Aquarium is well worth a visit, as is the vintage wooden train that rambles through the beautiful hills from the city to Sóller.
Caves of Drach
Located on the east coast of Majorca, in the town of Porto Cristo, the Caves of Drach are one of the island’s main tourist attractions
Water Parks
Majorca has many fantastic waterparks, offering splash fun for big kids and for smaller kids too. Ones to mention are Water Park Alcudia, Western Park Magaluf or Aqualand Magaluf.
Adrenalin Junkies
For adrenalin junkies, there is the fabulous Jungle Parc which has lots of challenging courses for kids aged 4 and over and adults, where you move from tree to tree, at varying heights from the ground, using bridges, ropes, vines and lots of long zip wires!
Explore the beaches
Renting a car is an inexpensive way of seeing the island and exploring some of its beautiful beaches, of which there are 262 totalling 50km to choose from, with small coves and bays like Cala Mondragó and longer stretches of sand like the sandy beaches of Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia that are perfect for families.
