I love sharing videos.
I either share short snippets on instagram which are limited to 10 seconds or have been known to spend hours cobbling together various clips I have shot through the day of our days out and then upload them to YouTube.
I was only chatting to hubby the other day saying that there was a real gap in the market for a video app that had the same type of social sharing angle as instagram. Then we discovered Veeemotion!
Veeemotion is a brand new free app that allows you to capture, edit, share, create and curate video from your smart phone or tablet and in HD!. You can create you own channels and add filters to help you produce quality video quickly and easily.
What I really like about the app is that you can create, edit and share the albums you make with who you want to share them with. You can set the albums to private and invite only the people you want to view it, or for those bits you really want to shout about, simply create public albums to share over Veeemotion, Facebook or other social media in a similar way to instagram.
You can add videos from the in-app camera, your camera roll and YouTube!
Veeemotion is a place to store the fun moments of your life, and keep your great memories safe and secure as they keep all your videos in the Cloud, and there are no limits to length of videos you can upload. You are initially given 5GB of storage for free
Is it easy to use?
Signing up is easy, simply enter your email address and a username. I am Chelseamamma,in case you hadn’t guessed already.
Like any app, practice makes perfect and the app does give you lots of clear pointers as you get to different stages of making your video. I am having fun playing around with the different filters. Cartoon is a great one for disguising a shaky hand and Miss Etikate is my favourite for its softening of the edges.
Unlike other movie apps you can crop your video to take out any unwelcome extra’s and can upload music to your video direct from the music on your phone. You can add to text to the movie and the album, cut and snip bits you don’t want out and videos can be as long or as short as you want!
Once finished you can then decide whether to keep the film in a private album and share just with who you want to see it, or you can make it public for all users of the app to see. It is also simple to share your finished movie directly from the app to your social media channels or embed in a blog post.
Here is a short film I made of Eliza and Kian using our Sodastream last night:
What do you think – would you use an app like this?
Veeemotion is currently only available on ios7 and above and is available from the app store here. It will be available for other android smart phones later in the year.
