This time of year my kids want to be in the garden 24/7, but finding toys to keep them amused can be a challenge.
The Thumbs Up Roller Wheel is an inflatable child-sized Roller Wheel that has been designed with roly-poly fun in mind!
It’s the perfect size for youngsters to climb through or roll around in and is suitable for use both indoors and out.
The first challenge we had was blowing it up. It does come with a foot pump, but in all honestly it is not very effective and we ended up using an electric pump plus a bit of old fashioned huff and puff to get it done and it still took a good 10 minutes to inflate.
Once it has been inflated you get a real idea of the scale of the wheel which has an inner diameter of 39″.
Eliza could not wait to get in and was soon rolling around the garden.
Even the teen decided to climb in and give it a go, although officially he is far too big for it as the maximum weight is 5 stone 7lbs (36kg).
Inside the inflatable ring is a collection of colourful balls that jiggle and bounce around as the wheel rotates, giving the toy an interactive edge that really captures kids’ imaginations.
What’s more, because it’s made from durable inflatable plastic, it’s suitable for use both indoors and out – just be sure to use it on the grass if you’re outside to avoid any potential punctures!
As well as being brilliant fun, the Roller Wheel also helps children sharpen skills like coordination, cooperative play, physical strength, visual and auditory stimulation, plus it creates lots of static electricity which makes their hair stand on end – much to the kids amusement.
The inflatable roller wheel is lots of fun and I think with a bit more practice the kids will be rolling around the garden confidently inside it!!

Goodness, what fun! My 6 year old and my little nephews would absolutely love this! I think my 10 year old is too tall though. Does it come with a puncture repair kit? There always seem to be stones and pebbles on our grass!
OK I would have loved something like this when I was a child, I probably would have rolled about in it till I became so dizzy haha!
