The woolly hat for kids that thinks its a torch!

Now that the clocks have gone back, the night are drawing in fast and it is already getting dark when I pick the kids up from school.

As we walk to and from school, I like to make sure that the kids are seen and have reflectors on their coats and lights on their scooters – Sebby’s wheels even light up on his microscooter!

Now you can be seen when you are out and about with new Bright Eyes Hats.

Not only do they keep you snug and warm, but the fun animal hats have built in ultra bright LED lights in the eyes to help the kids be seen from 200m away.

These LEDs have three settings; off, flash and full beam and can be used instead of a torch as they light a distance of 10m.

Bright Eyes Hats come in four designs: Rusty the Racoon and Cassy the Cat which are double lined to make them extra snuggly, and Una the Unicorn and Amanda the Panda.

They are a brilliant idea and the kids love wearing them. Isaac has even worn his on a night hike with scouts and says it was better than using a torch. My only grumble is that out of the four hats, three are really girly so I would like to see some more designs for boys.

Bright Eyes Hats cost from £17.95 and come with batteries. If you do need to replace them, you need Lithium disc batteries CR2032.
