The “say goodbye to vacuuming” gift – Eufy Robovac Review

I am not the techy person in our house, but if there was ever a product that I really wanted, it is a robot vacuum cleaner.

Housework is not a task I have ever enjoyed and now I am back to work, I find that any spare time I have is used catching up on the things that need doing around the house, which feels never-ending when you have a young family in tow.

We were invited to review the Eufy Robovac 11 and I could not wait to get it out of the box.

In the box

  • Eufy RoboVac 11
  • Remote control (requires 2 AAA batteries, not included)
  • Charging base
  • AC power adapter
  • Cleaning tool
  • High-performance filter,
  • 4 side brushes,
  • Welcome guide
  • 12-month warranty.

It takes minimal assembly, simply attach the brushes to the base of the robovac, plug in the base charger unit, install the batteries in the remote and it is ready to go. It even comes with some charge so you can set it off as soon as it arrives.

It is recommended that you plug the base charger into a socket near to the ground, on a hard surface, with no objects within 3 ft either side and a clear space of 6ft in front. We don’t have such a clear space, so it is plugged in under the computer table we have found that it has had no issue finding it’s way back ‘home’ to charge.

It is so simple to use! Simply turn the switch on at the side of the RoboVac and press the start button on the top and it will begin cleaning. It has a 3-point cleaning system of counter-rotating side brushes plus a 14.5 cm rolling brush, combined with strong 1000Pa suction, which effectively loosens, extracts, and vacuums dirt to give a superior clean and I was surprised by how much it actually picks up, particularly when I had recently vacuumed with our Dyson.

It is surrounded by soft bumper, packed with a full-suite of anti-collision infrared sensors which helps RoboVac avoid bumping into obstacles and getting trapped, so it can clean non-stop without help from you and won’t damage any paintwork or furniture.

Because it is so low profile, it can even get under some of the furniture, including all the beds, although I would recommend that you check for any stray socks or LEGO pieces before you set it off, as they can cause it to stop. If the worse does happen, then machine will beep and flash red, so you can pick it up and remove the obstruction.

The remote control allows you to access various cleaning modes, including single room, automatic, room edges, spot clean or to set the timer.

The Robovac also has an anti-drop mechanism to stop it falling if it reaches a step, although the first time I used it, I did find myself hovering at the top of the stairs – just in case.

It also has a dual-layer filter, plus a second high-performance filter keep your home clean and has a 0.6L capacity for dust, which is more than  enough for one circuit of the house. To empty, simply slide the cassette out, open the clip and empty in the bin – simple!

It also makes a very good sleigh for our Elf on the Shelf!!

Be like the elves and head on over to the Eufy website as they have some amazing 25% offers on some of their range of Robovacs, just in time for Christmas!!

Would you like to find an Eufy Robovac under the tree for you this Christmas?

  1. We have something very similar to this, and I could not love anything more! It is SO fantastic go out and set this thing to clean, then come back and have clean floors! I don’t know what we did before ours came along!

  2. I’d really like to try this actually! It seems quite loud in the video though, is that just cause of the capture or is it really very loud? I expected it to be a bit quieter due to the size.

  3. I have one similar robot, it is of great help!! but I still vacuum clean once per week, especially in hard to reach places, behind pieces of furniture and doors, beneath shallow furniture, etc.

  4. I’ve never heard of this brand before, but it sounds like something I would use regularly due to the wonderful cleaning purpose– I’ll definitely have to check it out now.
