The All New Menu at Frankie & Benny’s

We are big fans of Frankie & Benny’s and although we have two restaurants locally we always prefer to go to Tower Park as the atmosphere is more relaxed and the service is second to none.

This week Frankie & Benny’s launched their new menu and we were invited down to try it and we were immediately impressed with the new dishes to try – in fact it was almost too difficult to choose.

As we waited for our meals to arrive the kids got stuck into the play packs they were provided with and did some colouring and sticking before realising there was a mini board game to play. It was so much fun to play that it has actually come home with us and has been played several times since.

Our meals took around 15 minutes to come out, which was very impressive seeing as it was the first time the chef’s had prepared and cooked from it and all I can say was WOW!

Kian went for the Boston 7 Pizza which came loaded with chicken, bacon, ham, pepperoni, meatballs, roasted red pepper and red onion on a BBQ sauce base, topped with melted mozzarella. Hubby chose the Brooklyn Burger which is their classic beef burger topped with BBQ pulled beef and came with coleslaw and chips in a brown paper bag.  I finally decided on the Brooklyn Beef Salad which consisted of pulled beef with potatoes, mixed salad leaves, cucumber, red onion, tomatoes, grated carrot and tossed with honey mustard dressing.

I would never had put beef with salad before but it was delicious and hubby and Kian loved theirs too. The little ones chose meals from the children’s menu and the plates were all clear, even Sebby’s spaghetti bolognese.

We always forgo a starter when we eat out to save ourselves for the desserts and again these did not disappoint. I chose Eton Mess but with a blueberry twist instead of strawberry and it was delicious. Hubby went for the East Coast Sundae which was packed full of toffee and chocolate ice cream layered with chocolate covered honeycomb pieces, mini marshmallows and chocolate malt balls, topped with chocolate flavour sauce and whipped cream and Kian found his favourite on the menu – Sticky Toffee Pudding, a delicious toffee sponge drenched in your choice of Salt Caramel, Bourbon Caramel or Butterscotch Toffee flavoured sauce and topped with our real dairy vanilla ice cream.

The kids stuck to ice cream sundae’s topped with chocolate sauce and wafers and we all left the restaurant full.

I just want to add that the restaurant was full to bursting but the waiting staff, chefs and manager were all pitching in to make everything run smoothly and ensure that everyone got their food on time. There were four birthdays and they even timed the cakes to come out at the same time and the whole restaurant burst into song!

We will be back very soon!

  1. We are going to be trying our Frankie and Bennies next week. it is very reley we eat out. One of my pet hates i waiting forever for our meals. it seems that you had great service on that part. My boys have dessert stomachs, so no matter that they eat there is always room (apparently)!

  4. Frankie & Benny’s is my son’s favourite. I’ve only been to our local one a couple of times, and sadly, the service is always dire! Looks and sounds like you had a great time though!

  5. This looks like a great place to go! I’ve never actually been to Frankie and Benny’s and I need to fix that. I am always impressed when a restaurant makes a special effort with children.

  6. I’ve only been once for lunch with a friend but have been meaning to take the family there. Maybe I’ll tie it in with our next cinema trip
