Project 365 2021: Week One

Welcome to the first week of Project 365 2020. I used to do Project 365 for the first few years I started blogging and then life got in the way. I re-started in March 2020 to keep a diary of lockdown and have vowed to carry on as it is such a good way of keeping a weekly diary about everything that is happening. 2021 has not started in the way we had hoped, with an ever escalating rise in COVID19 cases and London declaring a state of emergency due to their hospitals struggling to cope. Friday 1st January 2021 …

Project 365 2020 – COVID19 Lockdown – Week One

It has been a few years since I last took part in Project 365 but now it seems like a great way to restart and document what is going on around us. Project 365 is a weekly diary featuring photo’s and how your week has gone; the good, the bad and the ugly. It is actually the 12th week of the year, but I am starting now, on our first week of lockdown here in the UK. Monday 16th March News of the coronavirus outbreak started changing by the hour and we started following the news more closely, although if …

Project 366 2016 – Week One!

Welcome to my fourth year of Project 365, well really its 366 as it is a leap year!

This year hasn’t started as well as I hoped as we have been stuck inside thanks to the weather, but thankfully we are not in as bad a position of those up North and I really feel for those that cannot even get into their homes.

We started this year with having a family get together at home and had a very raucous game of Heads Up. At one point Eliza had to guess Eliza Doolittle and surprisingly got it really quickly. The second day of the year we were invited to Toby’s birthday party and Sebby’s favourite part was the bubbles!

Project 366, week 1

The 3rd day of the year started with torrential rain and I wasn’t hopeful about getting outside but the weather forecast predicted a two hour dry spell and we arrived at the beach just as the rain stopped to blow away the cobwebs. Day four was another indoor day sadly but Sebby had a blast terrorising the island of Sodor with Rex the dinosaur.

Week 1

Day 5 was back to school day, but not before Eliza started her birthday countdown on the chalk board and on day 6, Isaac surprised us all by getting his 600m swimming badge after 3 weeks of no swimming!

Week 1, Project 366

Day 7 saw Sebby return to pre-school and when he came home he promptly passed out on the sofa! The following day he was back at his swimming lessons and we finally cracked the catamarans – he had previously refused to even contemplate trying them!

Week One

Today we visited Rock Up in Whitely and the boys got their climbing wall fix whilst Eliza and Sebby charged around soft play.

Vloject 52 2016 – Week One #vloject52

Good Morning and welcome to #Vloject52 I love taking videos of the kids and #Vloject52 grew from there. Video is a great way of remembering their funny words, silly dances and achievements and #Vloject52 is a weekly linky where you have to capture at least one short video and link up. The videos should be under a minute long and can be on platforms such as instagram, vimeo, vine, flipagram, G+ and YouTube and all I ask that anyone linking up also takes some time to view and comment on other videos that have been linked up. The linky will …

Project 365 2015 – Week One

Hello!

I am back for year 3 of Project 365 as I have found it a wonderful way of watching the kids grow up and remember the fun we have had along the way.

Just before I begin, I just want to say thank you to all of you who have taken the time to comment on my posts and I promise I am going to try to do better with my commenting too.  I cannot promise I will get to everyone in the linky each week but I will try and mix it up more!

So, without further ado, here are my pictures for week one of Project 365 2015!

week 1 2015

1.  New Years Day – we had family round for games and nibbles.  I thought Hungry Hippos would be a gentle start, but forgot how noisy it gets!

2.  We popped in to see my friend Tracy and she put Monsters Vs Aliens on……..not sure I have ever seen them all so quiet!

3.  Our annual family trip to the Pantomime at the Mayflower in Southampton.  Of course Eliza had to dress accordingly – can you guess what it was?
