Tornado Springs Tower

New Tornado Springs at Paulton’s Park

We have been fans of Paulton’s Park for many years, but most people associate it with being the home of Peppa Pig World and therefore a theme park perfect for the under 5’s. Back in 2016, The Lost Kingdom opened, bringing with it two new rollercoasters and dinosaur themed rides, perfect for the more adventurous members of the family. Now, there is even more to enjoy with their new Tornado Springs. Tornado Springs at Paulton’s Park Tornado Springs is a brand new world featuring 8 incredible new rides and experiences including a spinning coaster, gyro swing ride and a driving …

Futuroscope

A visit to Futuroscope with kids

When we booked our holiday to Puy du Fou, we decided to extend the break by a couple of days and head to another theme park that had been recommended to me – Futuroscope. Futuroscope is just under a two hour drive from Puy du Fou, just north of the city of Poitiers in North West France. Where Puy du Fou is based on the history of France, Futuroscope is the polar opposite and is based upon multimedia, cinematographic and audio-visual techniques, with several 3D and 4D cinemas along with other attractions, shows and buildings, not seen anywhere else in …

Puy du Fou Medieval

Visiting Puy du Fou with kids

Last year I was lucky enough to visit Puy du Fou on a press trip with Britmums and fell in love with this little known theme park which is set in Les Epesses, in the heart of the Vendée region of Western France Although Puy du Fou (pronounced “pwee de foo”) is a park with a theme, there are no rides and no tacky merchandise, just pure entertainment in the form of spectacular daytime and evening shows and four period villages. Visiting with a group of like-minded travel bloggers was an amazing experience, but what I really wanted to do …

Legoland

The all new Pirates of Skeleton Bay at Legoland Windsor

Visiting Legoland is something we do fairly regularly with our Merlin Annual passes. When visiting we always seem to radiate towards the same rides with Atlantis being our first port of call followed by the Squid Surfers. Isaac loves Laser Raiders and this time Sebby was old enough to join him and actually scored more than Isaac and Daddy, much to their disbelief, whilst Eliza and I visited the Lego Friends area and spotted Olivia, Mia, Stephanie, Andrea and Emma who were all happy to pose for a photo. The Pirates of Skeleton Bay is a firm favourite with all …

Crealy

Crealy Adventure Park Devon

At the end of July we went on a Glamping break at Crealy Meadows and the kids couldn’t wait to explore Crealy Adventure Park. Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park is an award-winning family attraction located near Exeter. The Park has over 60 rides and attractions set in over 100 acres of Devon countryside, including Animal Land which houses around 100 animals including Meerkats, Alpaca’s, ponies and sheep. The park is mainly aimed at young children although it does have a couple of bigger rides for older guests including Twister, Tidal Wave and Vortex. I have to admit that I found the park …
