Project 365 2015 – Week One

Hello!

I am back for year 3 of Project 365 as I have found it a wonderful way of watching the kids grow up and remember the fun we have had along the way.

Just before I begin, I just want to say thank you to all of you who have taken the time to comment on my posts and I promise I am going to try to do better with my commenting too.  I cannot promise I will get to everyone in the linky each week but I will try and mix it up more!

So, without further ado, here are my pictures for week one of Project 365 2015!

week 1 2015

1.  New Years Day – we had family round for games and nibbles.  I thought Hungry Hippos would be a gentle start, but forgot how noisy it gets!

2.  We popped in to see my friend Tracy and she put Monsters Vs Aliens on……..not sure I have ever seen them all so quiet!

3.  Our annual family trip to the Pantomime at the Mayflower in Southampton.  Of course Eliza had to dress accordingly – can you guess what it was?

Project 365 2014 – Week 52

Another year done and time has flown by so quickly!

My final week (and a bit) of Project 365 has to be filled with some of my favourite photo’s of the year because the whole family spent Christmas at Coombe Mill.  My only issue is choosing which ones to use.

I have loved being part of the 365 project and will be continuing for my third year in 2015 and hope to see you all there too.  Thank you TheBoyandMe for being such a fabulous host!

Project 365 2014 – Week 50

It is getting to the excitement overload stage in this house.  The decorations have gone up, rehearsals for the school nativity, The Angel Express, are in full swing and we have had some Christmas parties to go to.

Sunday saw Isaac and Eliza go to Olivia’s Frozen party where they had a fabulous time and played lots of fun party games.

Monday saw us heading to Poole Lighthouse to see Ed Petrie in Robin Hood.  It wasn’t the best pantomime I have been to but the kids loved it nonetheless “OH No they didn’t……….OH Yes they did!!”

I have been really organised with the Christmas shopping this year and still haven’t got it all down from the loft to wrap it, but I did have to pop into town to pick up some last minute gifts and get hubby a Christmas jumper for work, so we visited the Gardens of Light in Bournemouth Gardens which Sebby loved exploring.

On Saturday we headed to my favourite restaurant, Urban Reef, for hubby’s Christmas meal.  The food didn’t disappoint and the decorations were amazing!

Here is my week in pictures:

Project 365 2014 – Week 48

It has been a much quieter week this week as both Eliza and Sebastian have succumbed to nasty coughs/colds, courtesy of someone who clearly shouldn’t have been sent to school!!

On Friday we headed out to Frankie and Benny’s for a lovely meal, where we were treated like royalty as we were the only ones in there for quite some time.  Isaac was even shown his dinner being made!

Saturday saw us heading to the RAF Museum in Hendon for a Propel event.  Kian, Isaac and Eliza got to fly Radio Controlled Helicopters and UFO’s and the little ones also got their faces painted and had lots of fun dressing up.  We all had lots of fun and it was lovely to see Sebastian getting to join in and wandering around.  My plane obsessed toddler adored walking around the museum, pointing to and saying “plane”.

Here is my week:

Project 365 2014 – Week 47

I would love to tell you it has been a quiet week but I think you all know me well enough by now to know that we never have a quiet week!

Sunday saw us heading to Paultons Park for their Winter Wonderland press day.  I have to admit that, although the kids loved it, I was disappointed that the display was exactly the same as last year.  The best bit of the day was taking Sebastian on all the rides in Peppa Pig World – his little face was a picture!

Monday saw me heading to Jenkins and Sons, a gorgeous local restaurant, where I had helped organise a bloggers brunch for our local networking group.  It was great to catch up with some local bloggers and plans are afoot for some exciting stuff next year.

On Wednesday we finally had our bedroom carpet replaced.  I have been desperate to change it since we moved in 10 years ago, but we prioritized other rooms in the house first.  I was really unhappy with our stair carpet too as after seeing lots of TV programs where they had cream carpet on the stairs i thought it would be a good idea to have it too as our hall is quite dark – big mistake with my family!  The carpet fitter announced he had enough carpet to do our stairs too and I am really happy with the result!!

Friday saw me pick up some lovely Christmas presents at a local craft fair and Saturday saw us heading to Tesco where they had a Frozen event before visiting Stewarts Garden Centre to see Father Christmas arrive.

Here is my week in pictures:
