Project 365 2021: Week Twenty Two

The half term holiday’s are upon us and the weather has finally started to pick up. In bad news for us, there has been a rise of cases again in the UK thanks to the newly named Delta variant. There hasn’t been an official announcement yet, but the rumour mill seems to think that the easing of restrictions will be delayed until 5th July (my husband’s birthday) instead of the planned date of my birthday. Huzzah!! Half term week at last and no battles to do schoolwork this week, plus a week off for both my husband and I. Normally we would be heading away, but not this year thanks to lockdown. It is also the anniversary of our Spanish holiday where I spent the week in hospital with Sebby as he had pneumonia. On Thursday I got a phone call from my GP. We have enjoyed a lovely half term week, having spent some time away from home and catching up with friends. Now it seems it is back to earth with a bump, as reports are coming in that Boris is going to lock England down again as COVID cases are accelerating across the country.
