Saturday is Caption Day – 17th January 2015

Saturday is Caption Day has a new permanent home!

From this day forth, the gorgeous Annie from Mammasaurus has handed over the reigns to me and I hope to make #satcap the weekly tradition is used to be.

If you have not taken part in Saturday is Caption Day before, it is super simple.  Take any photo – past, present or borrowed that you think deserves a funny caption, pop it in a blog post as long or short as you like and link up.  Annie has made me a swanky new badge, so if you could add that too, that would be great!

Obviously, I would like you to add your funniest captions to others that link up too – it’s a great way to start the weekend with a smile!

Last weekend we saw a break in the storm clouds and decided to head to the beach to blow the cobwebs away.

Last year the beach after the storms was great fun as the sand was pushed up onto the promenade, burying benches and creating huge mounds of sand to jump off.

This year the damage was less, however there was a huge ridge of sand that ran along the beach about 3ft high that the kids just adored running up to and then launching themselves off.

There was also a game of peek-a-boo which Sebastian thought was hilarious.  Hubby then decided to line up a pose that looked like they were all buried in the sand – then Eliza pulled a funny face.

Can you caption this?

Team Hot Wheels® Experience at Daytona Track

To celebrate the DVD release of Team Hot Wheels®: The Origin of Awesome, Universal Pictures (UK) and Daytona Karting teamed up to offer children a FREE Hot Wheels® track day adventure at Daytona karting courses across the UK this summer and we were invited to one of their sessions last week. We set off bright an early as our session was to begin at 9.15 and found the Daytona Track at Sandown with no issues.  Isaac was booked in to do a Bambino course whilst Kian was to do the Junior. Once the boys had changed into their snazzy uniforms, …

Don’t Forget Dad this Father’s Day

Just a friendly reminder that it is Father’s Day on Sunday – have you thought about your gift yet? We were sent the Thorntons Chocolate Feast Collection to review and I have just one word to say – WOW! There is definitely too much chocolate there for one man, so it’s only fair that the family help devour savour the chocolate treats. In fact the whole family could have a ‘Chocolate Feast’ together on Father’s Day – my kids have already decided who is having what – the Fruit Favourites are mine! There’s a wide range of milk, dark and white chocolate in this collection …
