Project 365 2021: Week Twenty Two

The half term holiday’s are upon us and the weather has finally started to pick up. In bad news for us, there has been a rise of cases again in the UK thanks to the newly named Delta variant. There hasn’t been an official announcement yet, but the rumour mill seems to think that the easing of restrictions will be delayed until 5th July (my husband’s birthday) instead of the planned date of my birthday. In other lovely news, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have welcomed a baby girl, Lilibet Diana. Such a lovely tribute. Here is our week: …

Project 365 2021: Week Twenty One

The kids are in full wind-down mode for half term, although it only feels like 5 minutes since their last one. Project 365 2021: Week Nineteen

I have to admit that it has been a bit of a rubbish week. My laptop has died, the tumble drier has too and the weather isn’t helping either. In better news, I am now one of the 20 million people who have had both COVID vaccinations and thankfully feel fine. Here is our week: Sunday 9th May At this time of year, we have a colony of Puffins that nest on the cliffs near Swanage, so we headed out to walk from Durlston Country Park to Dancing Ledge in the hope of spotting them. Sadly we didn’t see them, …

Review: Pirate Adventure Mini Golf at Weymouth Sea Life Centre

We are regular visitors to Weymouth Sea Life Centre, but despite loving a game of crazy golf, have never played their Pirate Adventure Mini Golf, which sits next to the park. With restrictions on indoor activities still in place, Weymouth Sea Life Centre have re-opened their doors to their outdoor areas only and you can buy tickets to the mini golf, which also includes entry to the centre – pre-booking is essential. We were invited to go along and try our hands at the mini golf and the kids could not wait to get started. We had our temperatures checked …
