Swim Shop Review

I don’t know about you but I find shopping for clothes incredibly stressful, especially as I normally have at least one child in tow who goes into meltdown as soon as you want to go into a shop for you and not them.  Then there is the unflattering glare of the lights in the changing room which make me want to run away and hide.

I knew I had to bite the bullet and be brave enough to hit the shops in search of a new swimming costume as mine had seen better days.  Thankfully I was then approached by SwimShop to review their website which saved me from the dreaded changing rooms.

Swimshop have been in the swimwear business longer than any other UK swimming shop. Headed up by an Olympic Finalist, they are now the Swim Specialists at Sports Direct, the UK’s largest sports retailer. They have a huge product range begininng with baby right up to equipping the next generation’s budding athletes with the correct swimwear and on to meeting the needs of the world’s elite swimmers.

I chose the Zoggs Womens Neon Wrap Front to review as it has a tummy control panel and full foam cups for added support.  It is black medium leg swimsuit with a flattering simulated wrap over front edged with red piping and printed section of decorative diamonds in multi – colours of red, orange, green and blue. The swimsuit is made from chlorine resistant nylon / elastane mix, this suit has a soft comfortable handle and hugs the contours of the body to allow full freedom of movement.

The swimsuit is comfortable and flattering on, giving the illusion of a waist that I lost many years ago.  You can feel the tummy control panel working as soon as you put the swimsuit on and the foam cups keeps me comfortable and secure.

Swimshop is a great website packed full of swimming aids and toys as well as swimwear.  They even have a live chat tool if you are struggling to find what you are looking for and because they are partnered with Sports Direct their prices are very competitive too.

The costume sounds great – my latest one has a fab tummy control panel and little skirt attached. Hiding a multitude of sins! Kaz x

I can totally relate to the whole shopping-with-small-children experience. I tend to do most of my own shopping online too. Glad you found a swimsuit you love,

That’s something I need to buy – my boobs disappeared after feeding the kids and my costume no longer fits. Why is that something you only remember when in the pool?

  6. This sounds like a great costume. I don’t like shopping for clothes/swimming costumes either, my children go into melt down too and it makes the whole experience rushed and stressful.
