SuperMocio 3 Action XL Mop Review

I haven’t owned a mop for a good couple of years – chucking it away when we invested in the holy grail that is a steam cleaner.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I love my steam cleaner. It gets my floors sparkling and kills germs whilst it is at it, however, I did miss my mop and bucket for a number of reasons.

  • Spills are easier to clean up
  • Potty training accidents or the boys not concentrating on their aim incidents are easier to tackle
  • Stubborn marks come off quicker with a mop
  • It smells clean and fresh

I was sent the new and improved SuperMocio 3Action XL mop to review which has 25% extra contact with the floor vs the previous SuperMocio.

The set comes with 2 x SuperMocio 3Action XL mop heads, 3 piece handle that slots together and the SuperMocio Bucket with wringer.

The mop cleans stubborn dirt thanks to the microfibre and non-scratch scourer zones and picks up hair and particles with the 3D red dots, releasing the dirt easily in the water of the bucket.

One of the issues with a mop over a steam cleaner was always the drying time of the floor, but this bucket comes with a clever torsion wringer which twists and squeezes the mop head to get most of the moisture from it before it hits the floor, making drying times quicker.

The specially designed mop head has three main cleaning zones: the red non-scratch scourer for tough dirt removal, the Blue microfibre zone for greasy dirt removal and the 3D red smart fibre dots for extra hair and particle pick up. Together with the absorbent cloth core and lemon shaped head which enables the mop to reach into corners, it really is a clever mop.

I am not replacing my steam cleaner, but having the option of a mop to help clean all the spills that happen when you have kids has made clearing them up much easier!!
