Summer@Home with Disney

RadioTimes.com has teamed up with Disney+ to bring you a Summer@Home experience like no other featuring the biggest TV shows, films and characters in entertainment and a host of fun activities to keep you and your family busy, including the Disney+ Summer@Home board game and dice to download so you can play along at home.

To celebrate the launch of this fabulous union, we were sent an activity box, full of fun Disney themed crafts to do as well as some yummy treats.

Sock Puppets

The kids favourite activity had to be making the sock puppets and eating popcorn watching their favourite Disney Film was a close second.

Sock Puppet

We are big fans of Disney+ having subscribed at the beginning of lockdown as there are more than 500 movies, 350 series and 26 exclusive originals to catch up on – something for all ages to enjoy!

Here are some of the series that the kids have enjoyed so far:

Eliza (9) loves:

Jessie:

Jessie accepts a job as a nanny for the Ross family and moves into a multi-million dollar penthouse in Manhattan. She embarks on new adventures, and grows to rely on the love of the rambunctious children in her care.

Austin and Ally:

Opposites rock when an unlikely partnership is formed between Austin, an extroverted musician/singer, and Ally, a brilliant yet shy songwriter

Liv and Maddie:

Maddie’s life turns chaotic when her twin sister Liv, a superstar, returns to high school. Matters get worse as their parents work for the same school.

Hannah Montana:

Miley Stewart, an average teenage girl, lives a double life as a famous pop singer named Hannah Montana and constantly tries to conceal her true identity from the public.

Isaac (12) loves

Mandalorian

A lone gunfighter makes his way through the outer reaches of the galaxy, far from the authority of the New Republic, rescuing a strange young creature on the way.

Sebby (7) loves:

Star Wars – Clone Wars

As multiple star systems get involved in the Clone Wars, the Jedi Knights struggle to keep the peace and defeat the droid army of the Separatists. Meanwhile, an old threat slowly reveals its presence

Marvel Epics

Cartoon series based on the Marvel films.

Of course, everyone loves Disney films and the real bonus of Disney+ is being able to introduce the kids to some old favourites, as well as enjoying some of their newer offerings.

Eliza and Marie

Films currently on replay in our house include Aristocats, Onward, Up and Frozen 2 for the kids and all the Marvel films for my husband and Kian.

Have you subscribed to Disney+?

  2. Loving the sock puppets, they are fab! We have been toying with the idea of getting Disney + as both kids love films and it sounds like they have an amazing selection of shows and films on there. I am going to check it out again!
