Nothing beats a nice hot soak in the bath, but the days of a bubbly bath have disappeared in our house, now it is all about the bath bomb.
Bath bombs are not cheap, so we save them for a treat but now you can make your own, in the comfort of your home!
We were sent the So Bomb DIY Bath Bomb Vanity Case to review.
This vanity case is packed full of everything you need to create beautiful bath bombs and even has 3 surprise figures to hide inside your masterpieces!
In the Vanity Case:
- 5x bags of baking soda
- 5x bags of citric acid powder
- 1x bag of decorative sprinkles
- 3x surprise characters
- 3x moulds,
- A mini pipette
- Instructions
To create your bath bomb, mix the brightly coloured powder with the glittery powder, and then add the decorative sprinkles to the mould. Pour in the powder mix to make a bath bomb that’s totally unique.
You can combine the coloured powders to create a marbled effect and hide the cute characters in your bath bomb creations for a playful surprise at bath time.
Every ingredient is already coloured, fragranced and measured out, so you can enjoy fizzy fun within 10 minutes.
I have to admit that one side of our bath bombs looked perfect and the other side was a bit of a crumbly mess, however, the kids still loved having a bath with the coloured and scented bath bomb they made themselves.
Personally, having seen such positive reviews of the SO Bomb DIY Bath Bomb Factory, I might go for that set next time as both are around the same price.
Have you tried to make your own bath bombs?
Man baths were NEVER this fun when I was a kid! It was matey bubble math or nothing!
You had me at glitter bath bomb… I mean for the kids, deffo not for me… π
I am excited to move to a new house where I will have a bath tub, so done with showers and excited to make my own bath boom
This looks amazing. I really love a bath bomb, this is such a lovely gift for someone (or a hint for Motherβs Day for me!)
My kids would love this set as they love a bath bomb! Would make a lovely gift.
oh wow I’ve not seen these before – I love bath bombs (but I hate slime and that’s how I know of this brand!)
Aww this is a childhood dream – I absolutely love bath bombs and know that my daughters would love to make them with me when they’re older π
I love how bright the bath bomb looks, I’d totally love to create something like this as an adult. I wish they had these kits around when I was younger, it would of been a dream π
even if they didn’t quite turn out perfect on both sides, I think that fact that they get to make their own is a big plus π
I love bath bombs! That’s really interesting to make your own though. I hadn’t thought about that before. Sounds like fun.
Cool that you can hide characters in the bath bombs for a little surprise, I like that element. Mich x
I made a Bath Bomb recently at LUSH but never tried making one at home and this is definitely something I’d like to do! They came out really well!
Look at those wonderful rainbow colours! So much fun for the . children.
I must be about the only person I know who hates taking baths. My boys would love this though, they are suckers for a good bath bomb.
These look so fun! I always knew you could make your own bath bombs, but I always thought sourcing all the bits would be a bit of a faff. So itβs great these DIY kits exist! My eldest would love these, I might think about picking up one for his birthday.
This looks great! You’re right, bath bombs are getting so expensive (and I swear they are getting smaller) and I love the idea of making my own.
What fun! My 12-year-old daughter would love to make these, I think! Super for a gift idea!
