Have you met the star of the Smyths toys Christmas advert, this years most not-wanted toy!
Meet Snot.
Snot’s story begins following as the toy that no-one wanted, a factory line error, cast out and alone as he wandered through the streets looking for a place to call home.
Though he encounters a series of misfortunate events on his travels, including being chased by a 50ft monster, Snot ends up saving the day and finds a home in the aisles of Smyths Toys Superstores.

The kids loved the advert, hilariously voiced by David Walliams and we all cheered when Snot was brave and Snot was sticky, saving the toys from the 50ft monster in the parking lot.
Plush Snot and storybook are now in-store priced at £9.99 with all profits going to charity and I love the poem on the back of the box.
Thanks to everyone who picked Snot,
you’ve given him a home
and it won’t be forgot.
He might not be the cutest,
but you’ve done a good deed,
all profits will be given to charity
to help little ones in need.
The charities supported by Smyths Toy Superstores are Great Ormond Street Hospital in the UK and Temple Street Foundation in Ireland.
Every day, 618 seriously ill children come to Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) from right across the UK. These children are referred from their local hospital and seek specialist care. For some, GOSH represents their last hope. With your support, we can help provide a better future for these children and their families.

Such a great toy – especially as the title made me think of green slime, but this is so cosy and cuddly looking. Its really great to support Great Ormond Street too, they treated me as a child and were so supportive and helpful to both me and my parents.
