Revisiting Trevella Park #CornwallAdventure

We last visited Trevella Park, Newquay back in October 2013 and loved our stay there despite the weather not being on our side.

Trevella Park is an award-winning holiday park with a wide range of static caravan accommodation and a dedicated area for camping, touring and motorhome holidays. The site is simply stunning with neatly manicured lawns, impressive floral displays and their resident owl to welcome you when you arrive and it has the added benefit of being walking distance away from Crantock Beach.

Trevella Park also has an outdoor heated pool, adventure playground, two large and popular fishing lakes, mini golf, a café serving breakfasts and evening meals and a shop selling camping essentials plus during school holiday periods their park ranger runs lots of free outdoor sessions introducing children and families to Cornwall’s wildlife with fishing lessons, bug hunts and rock pooling among the activities available.

We arrived late Friday evening after a rather long 4 hour drive from Dorset thanks to some heavy traffic along the way. Our caravan was ready and waiting for us and we had brought some supplies with us, but hubby headed out to the local Morrisons, which is a 5 minute drive from the park, to get something for dinner as we were starving.

We stayed in a luxury 3 bed caravan which was a real home from home. It was bright, airy, well furnished and clean with everything we needed for our weekend break.

The kids had twin rooms and we had a double and there was a bathroom with the largest shower cubicle I have ever seen in a caravan.

Because we were only there for two days we didn’t get as long in the park as we would have liked as we used it more as a base to travel and explore places we had not been to in Cornwall which included Pirate’s Quest and Springfields Fun Park in Newquay.

We do hope to visit again and next time stay in one of their popular safari tents as they include real beds, proper furniture, a fridge and even a TV.

If you are looking for a relaxed Cornwall break, in an affordable 5 star park then Trevella Park comes highly recommended by me.
