Review: Edifier TWS1 Pro earbuds

Wireless technology is getting more and more popular as, lets face it, wires can be unsightly and a nuisance.

Wireless headphones are easier and less bulky to use, especially when doing exercise, however, they can be expensive to buy.

We were sent the Edifier Pro Earbuds to review, which come in a competitively priced £39, but are they worth it?

In the box:

  • Charging / Storage Case
  • USB Cable
  • Ear Buds
  • Silicone earbuds (to swap out to get the sizing just right for your ears)

Review

The Edifier TWS1 earbuds take moments to set up – simply take them out of the case and they go straight into pairing mode. Switch bluetooth on, on your phone and you’re good to go.

For those that like to cycle or run whilst listening to music, you can listen to the left earbud and place the right earbud in the case, so you can be aware of your surroundings. Randomly, you cannot do it the other way round, but we found that to be no issue for us, just something to be aware of.

The charging case has a built-in 500mAh battery which has about 24 hours of charge on top of the earbuds 8 hours on a single charge, so perfect for travel and days out.

The Edifier TWS1 Pro earbuds come in both black and white and are lightweight and comfortable to wear with good sound quality. They can only be controlled via your smartwatch and / or smartphone, not directly, but that reflects in the price point.

We like them so much that Kian, Isaac and my husband all have a pair now and Eliza often steals one of Daddy’s ear phones so she can listen to his music when we are out walking.

As a mum of teens, I am not prepared to pay silly money for a set of earbuds that often end up thrown in the bottom of a bag (or mislaid), so these are the perfect solution.

  1. This is a well timed read! I have just started going to the gym and I am using headphones but I keep ripping them out my ear!

I have been thinking about getting some of these but thought they were too pricey. I am putting these on my birthday list!

    Thank you
