Ready brek launches the perfect winter warmer

Porridge Face

Ready brek, the UK’s top selling porridge for kids under ten, is to build on its existing Easy Sachets porridge range by adding two delicious new flavours to the mix just in time for the back to school season. Available in Chocolate and Gingerbread flavour, these child friendly smooth oat porridges are a great winter warmer and the perfect addition to any breakfast table.

Designed to appeal both to parents – looking to ensure their kids have a wholesome and nutritious start to the day – and kids who just want something tasty of a morning, the new flavours boost all of Ready brek’s nutritional credentials. Made from wholegrain oats a serving is high in fibre as well as delivering 50% RDA of Calcium and 25% RDA of Iron and Vitamins.

As the only fortified branded kids porridge available on the market, Ready brek Easy Sachets have been designed with convenience and ease of use in mind. Ensuring mums can make perfect, super smooth, lump free porridge every time to appeal to even the fussiest of eaters.

Ready Brek

In addition to the launch of the two new Easy Sachet variants, Ready brek will be re-launching its Original Easy Sachet porridge. First appearing on shelves back in 2012, the porridge has proven so popular with parents and kids alike that it will be re-launched with fun new packaging to bring it in line with the rest of the range.

Caroline La Niece, Ready brek Brand Manager said, “The launch of the new Ready brek Easy Sachets reflects what we at Ready brek are all about – providing great tasting, super-smooth breakfast for kids each and every morning. We know how important it is for parents to feel like they are giving their children a nutritious start to the day and with our re-vamped Easy Sachet range they can be sure they are doing just this.”

The question is, does Ready Brek pass the Sebastian test?

YES, YES, YES!!

We have moved on from baby food now as he wants to eat what the whole family eat and the new range of flavours keeps breakfast interesting.

So far we have tried both the Gingerbread and Chocolate versions and the bowl is clean within minutes.  Since we have started having Ready Brek at breakfast his morning nap is around 2 hours long and takes him through until lunchtime.  It may a co-incidence, but he used to wake after less than an hour and make it clear he needed food so I am confident that Ready Brek is keeping his tummy fuller for longer.

The easy pour sachets are brilliant too – no more breakfast that is too dry or too milky!!

  • Pour the sachet into your (microwave safe) bowl
  • Pour you milk into the sachet up to the clear line
  • Add to the bowl and stir
  • Cook in the microwave for up 1.5 mins (mine takes less time)
  • Ping – it’s ready

Ready brek Easy Sachet Original is £1.99 RRP for a pack of 8 sachets, Ready Brek Easy Sachet in Chocolate and Gingerbread flavour will be £1.99 RRP  for a pack of 6 sachets.

  5. I used to give my son porridge in the mornings and he loved it. Now with the colder mornings and the fact we walk to school I should perhaps think about a warm breakfast again.
