Puddleflex Wellies Review

Muddy Puddles

We are off to Coombemill this Christmas and I have been starting to get all the things that we will need for our trip.  Looking through all the equipment we used last year, most of it still fits but there is always something they have grown out of……….wellies.

I have been budgeting and getting them bit by bit with Eliza getting hers over half term and Sebastian got his first pair whilst we were at Bluestone as the weather was very wet and he was desperate to walk everywhere so there was just Isaac left to buy for.

Thankfully Muddy Puddles came to my rescue and offered me a pair of Puddleflex wellies (RRP £20) to review.

These unisex wellies are available in pink, blue and red and have a matt finish and a furry lining plus extra soft in-soles to keep Isaac’s feet lovely and warm, even on the coldest day.  Isaac doesn’t normally fuss over shoes or boots but even he remarked on how warm and comfortable these wellies are!

I love the features on these boots – there is a lace tie round the top for secure fastening and to stop splashes sneaking in which is perfect for wading through the ford at Coombemill or jumping up and down in muddy puddles.  The boots also come up quite high up the leg too which is a real bonus as the deeper the puddle the better with Isaac!  In fact I wish I had bought these boots for Eliza now as I am forever draining water from her boots as she splashes so much!

The Puddleflex wellies also have gripped sole which helps make icy or muddy walks much less slippery and they have a reflective strip for high visibility, which is perfect for the school run and darker mornings / evenings.

These boots look to be great quality and are really easy to clean with cold soapy water and I hope to hand them down to Eliza and Sebastian.  They start at infant size all the way up to junior size 4 and it is a shame they don’t go any bigger as I quite fancy a pair for myself – I would like to see them become available with more colour options and I cannot wait to really put them to the test at Christmas!

The team at Muddy Puddles wanted me to rate the Puddleflex Wellies using a score of 1 to 5 (with 1 being poor and 5 being excellent.  Here are my scores:

Fit – 5/5

Quality – 5/5

Durability – only time will tell but I am impressed so far!

Comfort – 5/5

Price – 5/5

Practicality – 5/5

What great looking boots. They look really warm and wellies can often feel cold.

They look great. I like that they are padded inside, often wellies are quite hard on your feet.
