Welcome to my fourth year of Project 365, well really its 366 as it is a leap year!
This year hasn’t started as well as I hoped as we have been stuck inside thanks to the weather, but thankfully we are not in as bad a position of those up North and I really feel for those that cannot even get into their homes.
We started this year with having a family get together at home and had a very raucous game of Heads Up. At one point Eliza had to guess Eliza Doolittle and surprisingly got it really quickly. The second day of the year we were invited to Toby’s birthday party and Sebby’s favourite part was the bubbles!
The 3rd day of the year started with torrential rain and I wasn’t hopeful about getting outside but the weather forecast predicted a two hour dry spell and we arrived at the beach just as the rain stopped to blow away the cobwebs. Day four was another indoor day sadly but Sebby had a blast terrorising the island of Sodor with Rex the dinosaur.
Day 5 was back to school day, but not before Eliza started her birthday countdown on the chalk board and on day 6, Isaac surprised us all by getting his 600m swimming badge after 3 weeks of no swimming!
Day 7 saw Sebby return to pre-school and when he came home he promptly passed out on the sofa! The following day he was back at his swimming lessons and we finally cracked the catamarans – he had previously refused to even contemplate trying them!
Today we visited Rock Up in Whitely and the boys got their climbing wall fix whilst Eliza and Sebby charged around soft play.
AW bless him falling asleep after pre-school, a good sign that he’s been active though!
Oh I have missed updates on your lovely family! I can’t believe how grown-up Sebby is looking, he’s such a clever boy in the water. And I love the climbing photo, and the jumping shot too!
Thanks for linking up.
Lovely photos! Really like the climbing wall photo – I wish indoor walls had hand holds that lit up when I was first learning to climb! Xxx
Well done on the swimming badge! We love Rock Up, such great fun!

Great action shots this week Kara. I particularly love the one of your two diving off the pier. Looks great! Sorry about all the rain. Hasn’t it been awful?

That climbing wall looks so cool! It has been a miserable week weather-wise – so glad we got loads of new board games for Christmas between us so we could keep each other entertained.
