Project 365 2021: Week Nine

The last week of home schooling – Eliza and Sebastian are back on Monday, but Isaac has to have a lateral flow test and won’t be back until Wednesday.

Can you believe it has almost been a year since the first lockdown?

Sunday 28th February

With the end of the financial year approaching fast, everyone seems to be taking holiday from work, so I am working the next few Sunday’s, meaning we haven’t managed to get out on any walks with the kids.

After a bout of mild weather, I was a little shocked to find my car needed defrosting before I headed into work.

Monday 1st March

Another chilly start to the day, but it soon warmed up. My husband was day off, so decided to sort out the garden, jet wash the patio and clean the toys.

Sadly two of our inflatables didn’t withstand the jet wash, but Rody is still going strong. Lilah loved being able to use the swing again too.

After we finished the home schooling, we headed out for a walk. The kids were disappointed that all the puddles had disappeared, so ended up wading through the stream instead.

Tuesday 2nd March

Another day of looking after Lilah. She adores playing peek-a-boo with Kian and now the garden is sorted, he hid outside to see if she could find him.

I think we might need a bigger trampoline, as I swear Eliza was going to bounce straight over the top of the net.

Wednesday 3rd March

My home schooling journey has now officially ended with Eliza and Sebby as they are in school today as I was working.

Joby-Stand-point

It has been quite quiet review wise on the blog, but things are starting to pick up now and today I got to review the Joby Standpoint. I really love it and can’t wait to be able to go farther afield with it.

Thursday 4th March

World Book Day, but instead of costumes the kids got to wear their pyjamas to school and decorate potatoes as their favourite book character.

Sebby took a lot of convincing that he had to wear clothing underneath his onesie, he thought he could just roll out of bed and head to school.

Friday 5th March

A full day at work for me. My only photo is a slightly blurry one of Eliza cooking during her cubs zoom meeting.

I cannot wait until they can get back to meeting their friends face to face.

Saturday 6th March

My husband was off today, whilst I worked so managed to get the beds stripped and on the washing line – nothing beats line dried fresh bedding!!

  1. Good luck with the return to school.
It looks like you’ve had plenty of time outside. Lilah looks so happy in the swing. e

  2. Hope back to school will go smoothly for everyone! Lilah looks so delighted on the swings! She is such a happy smiley child! Love the photo of Eliza mid-jump! Eddie’s class also had to decorate a potato, but they didn’t have to wear PJs on that day. I’ll have to check out your review of the standpoint, it looks good. You don’t have a discount code by any chance? 🙂

  3. What a gorgeous photo of Lilah in the swing and a great shot of Eliza on the trampoline. The children look happy going to school in their PJs for World Book Day. Always nice to get washing on the line – it always smells so much nicer for being outside. #project365

  4. Yay for clean patios we need to do ours still, oh I love the toddler swing and her face is adorable. We also need a new trampoline as one of the supports has broken off ours! Good to hear things are starting to pick up blogwise. Hope the return to school went well
