Project 365 2015 – Week 18

TULIPS

After the excitement of last weekend it has been back to normal this week and all my plans seem to have been thwarted by the weather, at least it was dry during the Easter holidays I suppose.

Eliza’s the date of birthday present of a trip to see Disney on Ice finally arrived and we headed to Wembley to see the show and the biggest cheer of the afternoon went to the cast of Frozen – I had goosebumps listening to the whole audience burst into song.  I am sure I saw some mums and dads joining in too!

Isaac got some Sea Dragons for his birthday and we were finally able to see them by Monday and our caterpillars are getting huge – hoping we will have butterflies within the next week or so.

We rounded of the week with a very damp and chilly visit to the Fossil Festival at Lyme Regis.  Thankfully the majority of it was indoors and I was amazed by how many questions the kids asked and how much they got right when discussing fossils and rock formations!

Here is our week in pictures:

Week 18

116.  “In Summer” – Olaf performs his fab song from Frozen

117.  I helped my friend Joanne photograph some stock for her website – she repaid me by teaching Sebby the recorder – thanks Jo!

118.  Watching our Sea Dragons

119.  A rather fat caterpillar

120.  Colour coordinated on the school run

121.  Daddy put batteries in a Disney light toy for Sebby

122.  Learning about a Megalodon Tooth

This is the final week of theboyandme hosting the 365 linky.  Having taken part for 3 years I want to say a big thank you for all your hard work and am sending lots of well wishes to you and your gorgeous family.  Project 365 will continue as a blog hop and a list of hosts with go live on the 365 facebook page in time for the linky next week.

Lets keep this community going and I am sure TBAM will be back!

  3. I really wanted to go and see that Disney On Ice but my husband won’t drive us to Wembly, the 02 is as far as I can get him. So we have booked the Christmas show. It sounds like you enjoyed it x
