Project 365 2015 – Week 11

Wow, what a week it has been.

A Princess Ball, decorating, two brilliant parents evenings, an evening out not once, but twice and some laser / phaser action too!

Sunday saw us heading to Dorchester to see Dorset Dreamers launch new Princesses to their line up.  Eliza was in her element as she got to meet her favourite Disney characters and learn that anyone can be a Princess.

Monday was spent prepping walls and painting them.  Hubby got me a Dulux Paintpod which made everything so much easier.

I spend Tuesday decorating too whilst hubby was in his element building train track for Sebastian to play with.  It was also parents evening for Isaac and Eliza who both had glowing reports from their teachers.

On Wednesday I headed out to a Hotter Shoes Mothers Day event with some local bloggers.  We got to try on some fabulous shoes and I came away with two pairs and a handbag.

Thursday was my favourite day by far.  We took a two hour journey north to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour to see their new permanent expansion – Platform 9 ¾ and the Hogwarts Express.  It was an amazing evening, we not only got to do the studio your, fly broomsticks and ride on the Hogwarts Express, we also got to meet Chris Rankin who played Percy Weasley!

Friday was a back to normal day and Daddy came to watch our swimming lesson, and by Saturday we were back to meeting celebrities, only this time it was Basil Brush and Chris Pizzey after their show in Weymouth which was great family fun.

  1. I hate hate hate Basil Brush, would cheerfully pull his tail off and stuff it in his mouth….
Wow Bob would love to do the Harry Potter Tour and do on the train, what a brilliant evening out for you all.
Nice to get glowing school reports, makes all the hard work you have put into them worth while.
” pairs of shoes and a bag, what a nice company they are.

  2. Looks like an action packed week. Love the Princess Ball. We visited the WB Studios last year sometime and they didn’t have the Hogwarts Express then. We love the books and have the collection at home.
