Post ‘n’ Roll Hunny Pot Floor Toy Review

Now Sebastian has stopped breastfeeding we have a new bedtime routine and there are two toys that he finds especially calming and always goes to when he is ready to settle down for the evening – his spinning top and the Post ‘n’ Roll Hunny Pot Floor Toy from Tomy.

We were sent the Post n Roll Hunny Pot Floor Toy to review and Sebby instinctively knew what to do as soon as we got it.

By posting the colourful balls in the top of the Hunny Pot, you watch as they spin, rattle and roll down and around with their different colours alternating as they turn.

There are three holes in the bottom of the Hunny Pot and as it rolls around you can guess where will they pop out and try to catch them all.  These holes can be closed to store the balls or keep them contained although we did find it was a bit stiff to keep changing.

The Post ‘n’ Roll Hunny Pot floor toy is suitable from age 9 months plus and is great for teaching babies and toddlers about cause and effect, as you post the balls in the top of the pot and watch then roll down and finally out.  As they get older you can teach your baby the colours and count the number of balls too.  Chasing after the balls can also encourage them to walk or crawl.

There is something really calming about watching the balls spin through the hunny pot, no wonder its his go to toy to play just before bedtime!
