Teaching the kids about the world we live in is crucial for preserving our planet and the creatures that live on it.
Not only is it rewarding to see children growing up to respect the environment, but engaging them with the wonders of the natural world can not only give them many health benefits but can also inspire them into STEM careers when they are older.
One of our favourite ways of learning about the natural world is by watching documentaries like Planet Earth, where the incomparable David Attenborough celebrates the amazing variety of the natural world.
Now there is a new range of plush toys by Posh Paws, which have been inspired by the hit Planet Earth II and Blue Planet II TV series.
The Planet Earth series of plush toys include: an elephant, panda, tiger, penguin, polar bear, sea turtle, lion, sloth, sea otter, shark, octopus, and grizzly bear, which come in two sizes: 10″ or a smaller 7″ version.
We were sent the BBC Blue Planet 10″ Penguin, Turtle and Octopus to review.
The kids could not wait to get hold of these cute, super soft and cuddly creatures, which come with their own cardboard display plinth, although this was quickly removed by my three as they just wanted to cuddle them.
Each of the land and sea creature range are beautifully made, with BBC Earth branding and are suitable for anyone 12 months and over.
Thanks to the team at Posh Paws, I have a Planet Earth Plush Toy to giveaway to two lucky readers. The lucky winners will either receive a Turtle or a Penguin.
