Paw Patrol Magazine Review

We don’t watch a lot of TV in our house and up until now Sebastian has only had a couple of shows he will sit and concentrate on, Bing Bunny and Thomas and Friends, but there is a new show on the block that has really caught his imagination – Paw Patrol.

Paw Patrol is a group of six rescue dogs, led by a tech-savvy boy named Ryder, has adventures in “PAW Patrol.” The heroic pups, who believe “no job is too big, no pup is too small” work together to protect the community. Among the members of the group are Sebastian’s favourite, firedog Marshall, police pup Chase, and fearless Skye. All of the animals have special skills, gadgets and vehicles that help them on their rescue missions. Whether rescuing a kitten or saving a train from a rockslide, the PAW Patrol is always up for the challenge while also making sure there’s time for a game or a laugh.

Sebastian now has a Paw Patrol toy wishlist for his birthday, but in the meantime we were saved by the offer to review the new Paw Patrol magazine which handily arrived with some toys including a pretend torch for role play purposes, Chase’s hat and ears and a police badge.

Paw Patrol

Sebby could not wait to look inside the magazine and busily started colouring the pictures and sticking the stickers into the correct slots. He is fixated on one page in particular which has a picture of a Flynn dressing up costume and despite not liking dressing up is demanding it for his birthday!

The magazine has a mix of engaging stories, colouring, stickers and puzzles and is aimed at preschoolers and reception age children. The activities are all focused on the EYFS and follow learning that the children are doing in nursery like finding opposites, identifying colours and numbers.

Paw Patrol

We will definitely be buying this magazine again. Paw Patrol can be seen on Nick Jr and Channel 5’s Milkshake.

Does your child like Paw Patrol?

  1. My kids aren’t overly into Paw Patrol yet, which surprises me as most of my friends kids are OBSESSED! These look fun though, I’m sure one day my kids will catch on to the craze!!

  4. And now I have the Paw Patrol theme tune going on in my head!

My girls like Paw Patrol too. I noticed that there’s been quite a few PP themed parties including one at the hotel my daughter works at. I think she was disappointed that she wasn’t one of the members of staff who got dressed up!

  6. Paw Patrol seems to be the newest hyped show for little ones doesn’t it? My Nan tried to show it to my boy but he wasn’t interested, he doesn’t seem to like anything that’s popular, a bit like his mammy! Haha 🙂
