New Wetmore Forest Monsters – Review

Once upon a time, somewhere in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, there is a wooded glen known as Wetmore Forest.

Amongst the great mossy, bearded trees, shrouded in mist lives a furry band of critters that come in all shapes and sizes and each with their own peculiar personality.

They are called Wetmore Monsters and currently come in a range of soft and cuddly plush toys, Funko collectibles and books, which are exclusive at John Lewis. Games and puzzles will be added to the collection soon.

Meet the Monsters

There are 6 different characters in the Funko Wetmore Forest range:

  • Picklez – Picklez looks a little bit like a bunny. He has energy to burn and a gift for lightening the mood and loves a bit of good hearted mischief.
  • Butterhorn – with large curly antlers, Butterhorn is a gentle monster who sees best in everyone. She loves adventure, is easily excitable and can usually be seen with her nose in a book.
  • Snuggletooth – Is a natural leader, brave and determined and fiercely protective.
  • Bugsy – Is the smallest of the group – an explorer and observer, he is always eager to help.
  • Tumblebee – Sees the world through innocent eyes of a child, marvelling at simple beauty. Strong, loyal and generous with hugs.
  • Chester – loves to solve a problem, is super curious and has a habit of taking things apart and putting them back together again!

We were sent the very cute and cuddly Tumblebee plush to review.

Tumblebee

Tumblebee gets his name from the bold stripes across his furry body and his love for tumbling aimlessly among the wildflowers. He is well-liked among the other creatures of Wetmore because he is kind, caring, and honest. Everyone loves Tumblebee! They know that through rain and snow and highs and lows he can be counted on to protect you from danger and give you a bear hug and a big laugh when you most need it.

Tumblebee Plush

If you love plush toys that are super soft and cuddly, then these are for you. Tumblebee stands at 23cm tall and almost as wide and is perfect for giving a loving squeeze.

Funko Wetmore Forest

For kids that love their collectibles or playing with sturdy figures, the Funko range is cute and fun. We have Chester McFreckle who looks a bit like a deer crossed with a squirrel.

The books bring the Wetmore Forest to life and are perfect for young readers like Sebby (6). There are six books to collect and although some of the names are a bit tricky at first, the stories are fun and have a good moral to them.

Book

Each Wetmore Forest book costs £8.99, the Funko range are £9.99 and the plush toys are £26.99. I think this could be the start of our own Wetmore Forest collection.
