I have this quote on my fridge and it is so very true. I swear that the kids literally follow behind me and mess up anything I have just cleaned up and the bottom of the laundry basket is only visible for mere seconds!
I have vinyl and tile flooring downstairs in my house and swear by two things to keep it clean and tidy – my trusty Dyson DC41 cordless vacuum and a steam mop.

Polti moppy sounds rather good, particularly as it is lightweight. We have cats and kids, so seem to be constantly needing to clean the floor. Something like this would be ideal.
Wow this looks like a steam cleaner for the 21st century! I have a steam cleaner but honestly it seems so industrial compared to this love how easy it seems to navigate!

Wow – no water tank!? That’s amazing. I feel like we’ve stepped into the future. Could definitely do with something like this for our kitchen – I’m ashamed at the state of the vinyl flooring in there. I actually can’t remember the last time I gave it a mop.
This looks interesting. I have a steam mop which I do use regularily but I also use and old fashioned one too. Love the design of this one though
Great that it helps with allergies. We have mostly carpets but could do with something for the bathroom and kitchen…
I have no steam cleaning devices. I do, however, have four messy kids and a cat. I think a steam cleaner is therefore high on the shopping list!
