My Top Posts of 2019

At the end of the year I always enjoy looking back at my blogging year and seeing which posts are most popular with my audience, knowing there will be a few surprises in there.

The past few years have seen a few that remain popular, despite being written a few years ago and this year is no exception with my top read post being from 2013!!!

My most visited posts of 2019

1. How old is too old for Soft Play

This was my second most read post of 2018 and is as popular as ever as it has remained one of my top posts since it was first written.

How old is too old for soft play? is quite a controversial question and does depend a lot on the soft play area. Some, like our local Lemur Landings are designed for children up to the age of 12, but there are many more smaller ones out there that are only suitable for pre-school children.

2. Jawsome Sharks at Weymouth Sea Life Centre

We were lucky enough to be invited to be Sea Life Ambassadors for 2019 and enjoyed regular trips to Weymouth Sea Life Centre.

The great thing about Sea Life Centres is that they put on regular different events throughout the year to get the kids interested in conservation and looking after local wildlife. They also have some incredibly cute Fairy Penguins!

3. Maya Back Pack Review

I have been a fan of Mia Tui bags since Eliza was a baby and soon replaced my bulky changing bag for the stylish yet practical Sofia bag.

At the end of 2018 I was excited that Mia Tui had launched a range of back packs and was very lucky to be offered their Maya back pack to review which is still the bag I use on a daily basis.

4. Bissell Stain Pro 12 Carpet Cleaner

This review crept into my top 10 last year and is as popular than ever.

The Bissell Stain Pro 12 has got us out of some sticky situations and is still used regularly, but ALL the family. I think it is currently being used by my Mother-in-Law!

5. Vauxhall Grandland X Elite Review

I love driving and reviewing brand new cars is always a real treat.

Our review of the largest Vauxhall SUV in its range – the Grandland X Elite took us all over the south coast back in June 2018. Sadly for us, it didn’t pass the three car seat challenge.

6. Owleez – Interactive Owl

Owleez is a new interactive toy, which was one of the most wanted Christmas toys for this year.

This post raced into my top 10 over Christmas week with people researching how to teach Owleez to fly. Although the kids enjoy playing with it, it is one of those toys that seems to work one minute and then not the next!!

7. WWE Create and Customise your own WWE Superstar

This post from 2015 was a surprise hit.

The toys, which have now been handed down to Sebby are a range of Create and Customise Superstar figures where you can mix and match their body parts to create the legend you always imagined!!

8. Wool Bedding from the Wool Room

Another surprising entry from 2015 was our review of wool bedding, which we still use to this day.

This luxury wool bedding made from the finest British wool, is scientifically proven to improve sleep quality. In fact, research suggests wool bedding can help provide up to 25% more stage four regenerative sleep.

9. Keeping Warm and Dry this Winter with Mountain Warehouse and Hotter Shoes

This post is from 2017 and is my review of Hotter GTX Marlowe Boots and a down cost from Mountain Warehouse.

Again, I still wear both and my Mountain Warehouse coat has kept me warm and dry on many of our holidays from Northern Ireland to Lapland and Iceland a few weeks ago.

10. How to Report an Imposter Account on Facebook

Squeezing into 10th position is my post on how to report an imposter account on facebook.

Back in 2016, someone set up an account with my name and images of Eliza that they had taken from my blog. The whole reporting process was a complete nightmare as it is almost impossible to deal with human being, rather than a computer generated checkbox and automatic reply but after a few days of going backwards and forwards I managed to get it resolved.

Do you check to see what your top posts of the year are?
