My Dream Horse with Petplan Equine

Eliza loves horses and whenever we go somewhere that offer horse or pony rides, she is off like a shot.

In fact, we are lucky to live in a semi-rural location and will often wander up the road to see the horses in the field, or see them trotting past on the bridleway on the way to school.

Eliza Horse

Eliza has asked if she can have her own horse, but sadly this is not something we can commit to at the present time and she has to make do with her Schleich horse collection at the moment.

She is also a keen artist and loves to draw anything and everything and like most children, as she has got older, her pictures have become clearer and more detailed, so when Petplan Equine Horse Insurance asked her to put her artistic skills to the test by drawing her dream horse, she jumped at the chance.

Their brief was broad; the horse could be weird or fantastic, straight from her imagination and once her dream horse was finished, it would then be transformed into an amazing soft toy for her to keep and treasure.

Her horse, Misty, arrived in the post today and Eliza is over-the-moon with her creation, as it looks just like the horse in her picture!!

The horse is purple, with a pink mane and tail, red hooves and a smiley face, of course.

Having the correct insurance when you own pets is essential for all those unexpected costs that comes with ownership.

Did you know that Petplan work with more animal rehoming charities than any other pet insurance provider, have helped over 1,200 charities throughout the UK and formed the Petplan Charitable Trust which has so far raised more than £7million towards a better, healthier world for animals.

  1. Oh my goodness, this is so cute! It’s so important to have the right insurance, we made sure we checked everywhere when we got the insurance for our puppy a couple of months ago.

  2. Misty is very cute, what a great imagination your little girl has! My little girl absolutely adores horses too and recently had her first proper horse riding lesson. She would love her own horse too, but the lessons will have to do for now lol!
