My entry into the Totally Beachin Beaches competition
I adore Middle Beach at Studland, Dorset – so much so it is in my blog header!
We have seven miles of sandy beaches in Bournemouth and Poole, but nice as they are they’re groomed within an inch of their lives. You often see diggers working to keep them looking pristine and in the summer you can barely move for tourists.
Middle Beach is part of a group of beaches that are in Studland, Dorset.
The Studland beaches are all National Trust which means they are left as nature intended. The water is shallow so the children can paddle safely and there is so much wildlife to be found both in and out of the water.
The beaches do get busy in the summer and there are lots of extra activities for people to do such as Kayaking, Pedalo’s and even horse riding so we get their early to enjoy the quiet.
Where else can I sit and enjoy the beach with the little ones whilst hubby and the teens are off kayaking?

The beach / ocean is my favorite place, too. So wonderful and so much fun for the kids.

That beach looks beautiful! We are lucky to live local to a beach but one of my favourite beaches is in Scratby near Gt Yarmouth it is stunning
