Little Brian Paint Sticks 2-in-1 Art Station

Painting at home = my worst nightmare, well at least it was until I was introduced to the Little Brian Paint Sticks.

Looking a bit like a glue stick, Little Brian Paint Sticks are a fun, clean and very convenient way to paint and we use them both at home and at the school where I work.

They are as mess free as paint can be as there is no need for brushes, water or paper towels to deal with accidental spillages.

The solid paint sticks twist up and down, just like a glue stick, allowing kids to showcase their painting skills but adding the vivid colours to be directly onto a range of different surfaces like canvas, wood, paper, card and even glass, drying within minutes of use.

We were sent the Little Brian Paint Sticks 2-in-1 Art Station to review just in time for the school holidays.

It is double sided, with a whiteboard one side and a chalkboard on the other.

In the box are: 6 Classic Paint Sticks, 6 Chalk Sticks, 10 sheets of paper, 1 duster, and the art station which is portable and easy to fold and store.

On the whiteboard side there is a handy clip that can be used to utilise the art station as an easel for painting or drawing on paper, although I found that you need to add several sheets to it for the paper to hold securely.

Just be warned – the kids will get so creative that your fridge will turn into an art gallery.

The little Brian Paint Sticks 2-in-1 Art Station costs £29.99 and is available from all good toy shops.
