There is only one film my kids want to see this half term – the 3D animated comedy, The Angry Birds Movie, where we’ll get to meet Red, Chuck, and Bomb, and discover what the mysterious green piggies are up to.
Not only can you see the film which is out in cinema’s now but you can help the Angry Birds save their eggs from the pigs with the new LEGO® The Angry Birds™ Movie playsets and we were sent King Pig’s Castle to review.
King Pig has hidden the eggs at the top of his castle and is preparing a feast – but Angry Bird Red and Mighty Eagle are ready to fight the piggies to get them back.
Now, unlike some LEGO® sets where you build them and display them on a shelf, never to be touched again, prepare yourself for some seriously feathery fun as you catapult Red at the castle and watch the piggies go crashing, or race to the top of the tower and rescue the eggs before they slide into the cauldron and stop Chef Pig putting boiled eggs on the menu, and serve up your own side order of awesome bird-slinging action!
King Pig’s Castle features an opening gate, spiral egg chute, spinning tower, collapsible mini-tower and hangar to launch the TNT box with wings.
As you can imagine the set causes a riot here and Isaac is busy planning a trip to the shops in half term to spend his money on the Piggy Pirate Ship!
The set includes six eggs, six balloons, cauldron, King Leonard’s crown and cape, and a Red, Mighty Eagle, King Pig, Chef Pig and Foreman Pig minifigure and has an RRP of £74.99
I really love the look of this set. It’s hard to resist LEGO when they do such a good job of their sets x
