Joe Browns No Ordinary Herringbone Coat Review

Over the last few years I have also plumped for practical, waterproof coats to get me through the winter months, however I have been yearning for a more stylish coat to wear for days and evenings out, so when JD Williams offered me a winter coat to review, I knew just what I was looking for.

I have loved Joe Browns clothing for years, so when I spotted their No Ordinary Herringbone Coat, I knew it was the one for me.

With individual buttons on the front, a stylish button design on the back, pretty floral lining and a full skirt, this coat is elegant and warm.

The coat is beautifully cut and true to size, leaving me a bit of room to layer up if I want to when the weather gets really chilly.

I have added my spitfire poppy brooch to the lapel, but I love that the real feature of the coat is all the different style of buttons used on the back, front and even the sleeves.

It has been fairly mild since I first got my new coat, but I can imagine it would look fabulous with a pretty floral scarf added around the neck to complete the look when the temperature really drops.

It is described on the website as navy blue, but although the herringbone effect is blue in colour, I would say it is more of a charcoal grey in colour.

I would describe my figure as apple-shaped and styling of the coat definitely gives me a more womanly shape too, which can only be a good thing.

The Joe Browns No Ordinary Herringbone Coat is available to buy from JD Williams in sizes 12 – 32 with an RRP of £90.
