It’s the Dark Arts Season in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Regular readers of my blog will know that I have some serious Harry Potter fans in our house and we have just redecorated Eliza’s room to reflect her love of all things magical.

Autumn is well and truly here and with Halloween just around the corner, from a Wizarding World perspective, it means that it’s nearly time for the Dark Arts!

We were sent a Dark Arts package, with lots of fabulous goodies to celebrate the darker side of Harry Potter, all of which are available at amazon.com/wizardingworld

Hogwarts is a school like no other and you need to make sure you look the part and have all the right equipment for your learning. Every student needs their official House robes from Rubies.

Paladone Deathly Hallows #007 Icons Light

The Deathly Hallows symbol represents three legendary Harry Potter artefacts: the Elder Wand, the Resurrection Stone and the Cloak of Invisibility. This is represented by a vertical line and circle enclosed by a triangle and this fun night light features the Deathly Hallows logo on a triangular light with black casing, perfect for any Potter fan to have in their room.

Invisibility Cloak

We are big fans of the WOW! Stuff Invisibility Clock having previously reviewed it last year.

Cloak

The pattern of the Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak has been made to look just like it did in the film, however the inner lining uses green screen technology to help you disappear using the Wow! Stuff app, available on App Store and Google Play. The only issue we had is that the cloak was adult sized and therefore a little too large for the smallest member of the house, however, this year I am happy to reveal that they have launched a Junior version!!

Cloak

It is great fun to play with and now the kids have their own phones, they can make their own photo’s and video’s with the cloaks.
