Hot Wheels, now to wear and play!

There is something about Hot Wheels that boys of all ages seem to adore and you will often find the teens happily building and playing with the tracks alongside the little ones.

Now, not only can they play with their Hot Wheels track, but they can wear their favourite image too with the new range of Hot Wheels t-shirts available from Zara and we were sent one to review.

Zara / Hot Wheels

Made from 100% cotton with a shiny text print and costing just £7.99 the Hot Wheels T-shirts are a sure-fire hit.  Isaac chose the blue one and couldn’t wait to put it on when it arrived.  In fact, he did a show when we were in Turkey and this was his outfit of choice as it also features some sparkly detail – perfect for those showbiz lights!

The Hot Wheels t-shirts are available in sizes 3-4 (104cm) up to age 11-12 (152cm).  We chose age 5-6 (116cm) for Isaac as he is small for his age and it still has plenty of growing room so I am happy that it will last a couple of seasons.  It has been washed and worn a couple of times now and the print has remained in tact so I am confident that this will be something he will hand down to Sebastian in the future.

If you buy a Hot Wheels t-shirt, why not team it up with the all new Super Speed Blastway track (RRP: £22.99)

Kids can now be the master of their own track and build their very own Hot Wheels system!  They can keep the high speed and competitive action going by connecting to other tracks with the Super Speed Blastway!  If you can dream it, you can build it!

Who has the skills and the speed to cross the finish line first?  Kids can send their Hot Wheels car flying on the Super Speed Blastway, and battle it out against their competition until the finish flag decides who the ultimate champion is!  Racers launch up towards the grandstands so fast, they knock off the pit crew one at a time with every lap, until the car in the lead activates the checkered flag for a grand victory.

Kids will love the side-by-side racing action controlled by two slam launchers. The grandstands feature pop off characters which are released after the completion of each lap around the speedway, and the finish flag appears at the end of the race to reward the winner!

  1. Oh, I wish they had them in smaller sizes too – Adam is just turning 2, but he’s also quite skinny so the larger size wouldn’t work… But he is obsessed with cars at the moment (he even sleeps hugging one!), I might have a look at the bigger size for him to wear next year 😉
