I am on countdown to Camp Bestival and I have been busy preparing my wardrobe for the event.
After torrential rain the last couple of years, the weather is looking warm and dry for this years event and I am looking forward to dressing up, rather than hiding in wellies and a raincoat.
One thing that people go all out on at festivals is jewellery and we have recently been introduced to Daisy London who design and sell wellness inspired jewellery from the timeless Daisy collection to iconic Chakra pieces, plus their recent collaboration with blogger & vlogger Estee La Londe; Daisy create jewellery to be loved and worn every day.
I was invited to review two necklaces from their range and knowing I was heading to a couple of festivals this summer, I wanted something suitable.
With Camp Bestival being on the Jurassic Coast, I though the fossil necklace would be perfect, but when I saw the Silver Three Daisy Chain necklace I knew it would be perfect for the relaxed summer vibe of the event.
The Silver Three Daisy Chain is made of 925 Sterling Silver and 18ct Gold Plate and has an RRP of £105. I have been wearing it for a couple of weeks, getting such lovely comments about its design.
My second choice was something a little more spiritual – an Amazonite Healing Stone necklace.
One of nature’s most ancient stones, the serene turquoise hue is not only my favourite colour, but of is said to soothe the senses and calm the soul. Thought to bring balance and peace to the wearer, Amazonite is the perfect stone to help settle anxiety or nervousness.
I have no idea if the healing stone works, but I love it and co-ordinates with most of my outfits.The Daisy Amazonite Necklace has an RRP of £85.
After a few years of not wearing necklaces and jewellery as the kids were young, I am really enjoying the boost that wearing it again is giving me.
