The Family First Aid Kit Challenge was created to highlight how families are often not fully prepared for those daily healthcare family emergencies. The Challenge entailed showcasing what was currently in my first aid kit which was then given an expert analysis on your first aid kit by a nurse, including a check on what you have stocked and whether it is up to date.
As a childminder and having recently undergone my First Aid refresher course I was confident that my first aid kit was well stocked and full of the correct kit as I have recently updated it, but I also know that sometimes first aid kits can sit at the back of the cupboard and things quickly go out of date.
The challenge was launched by Vidisan, a natural eye drop to relieve sore and irritated eyes for the whole family. These eye drops contain tried and trusted ingredients to calm and soothe irritated eyes from daily causes of irritations, such as wind, dust, pollution, cigarette smoke, chlorine from swimming pools and pollen. Vidisan eye drops are a year round solution for irritated eyes – which we can be especially vulnerable to during the summer months due to swimming in chlorinated pools while on holiday, summer allergies or playing outside in the garden.
Vidisan can be used at any age, including babies, and contains two natural active ingredients povidone and euphrasia. Euphrasia is a naturally occurring substance, used in medicines since Egyptian times, which alleviates allergic conjunctivitis and conjunctivitis due to external irritants, such as wind, pollen and other causes of eye irritation. Povidone forms a protective layer which retains moisture on the surface of the eye and helps the formulation supplement the aqueous layer of the tear film to soothe the eye.
Thanks to Visidan I have a fully stocked Family First Aid Kits (including this first aid eye drop essential, Vidisan) to giveaway to two of my followers.
