At the age of 7, Eliza is starting to develop her own style and gone are the days of us telling her what she should wear.
Back in the summer, after over a year of asking, we finally gave in and let her have her ears pierced and have been on the look out for the perfect pair of earrings for her to replace her studs.
Molly Brown London is a children’s jewellery brand which was established in 2006 and was dubbed ‘Tiffany for girls’ by VOGUE Magazine. We were invited to choose a pair of earrings from their range of quality hypoallergenic sterling silver earrings for Eliza to review and after much deliberation, she finally plumped for the Honey Bee earrings.
These beautiful sterling silver earrings have had the honey bee wings dipped in gold vermeil to make them really stand out.
They arrived quickly, beautifully presented in a pink box, with warm chocolate-brown detailing and she could not wait to get them out of the box.
These girl’s stud earrings make a very special first pair of earrings, or could be a brilliant flower girl or birthday gift.
I always worry about jewellery as I suffer with sensitive skin and often react to some jewellery, but I am pleased to say that Eliza has had no problem with these at all. The butterfly clip at the back of of the earrings is nice and secure too, so I am confident that they will stay put, whatever she throws at them – in fact I panicked when I realised she had forgotten to take them out when she went swimming, but they will still there when she got out the pool.
