Saturday is Caption Day – 9th August 2014

In case it had escaped your notice, we were at Camp Bestival last weekend and it has given me so many potential #satcap photos it has left it almost impossible to choose.

Ironically last Saturday, several of us Camp Bestival Bloggers met up for a sneaky Sangria and one whipped out some moustaches for us all to wear for an impromptu photograph.

Both Isaac and Eliza then insisted they wanted one, and who were we to refuse?

Saturday is Caption Day – 2nd August 2014

Whilst I am away at Camp Bestival and leaving the house in the safe hands of my daughter (I hope), I will leave you with this #satcap offering.

Last week we took a trip to the beach and Eliza was determined she wanted to surf.

She laid her boogie board on the sand in shallow water and got incredibly frustrated with it as it wouldn’t float with her stood on it!

This week we were invited to Butlins by the Beechdean group for the launch of their delicious new Scooby Doo themed ice creams.

The kids got to dress up as their favourite characters before heading down to see the Scooby Doo show at Centre Stage.

Once the show had finished I promised that they could go on all their favourite rides from when we had our Butlins Ambassadors stay earlier in the year and I was surprised by how much they remembered.

Saturday is Caption Day – 19th July 2014

This week we went to Weymouth Sealife Centre.

I took Eliza’s swimming stuff so she could enjoy the splash park, but made the mistake of telling her, so after every exhibit she would ask “Is it time to play in the water yet?”

Finally she got her chance and was straight at the top of the slide.

I am not sure she was expecting the water to be that cold, as she looked a little shocked after she hit the water.

Adventure Wonderland

Saturday is Caption Day – 12th July 2014

It is #satcap time again and I have a fab picture that I took yesterday at Adventure Wonderland in Bournemouth.

It was teacher training day and Eliza was miffed that she still had to go to playschool so I promised her we would go out when she got home.  Isaac and I had a wonderful “boys day” and he loved watching Sebastian at swimming and then joining in enthusiastically at Sing and Dance About at Lemur Landings.

The highlight of the day was Adventure Wonderland though and it looks as these two are plotting something serious………..

Isaac adores his superheroes at the moment and for Christmas he was delighted when he got a Hulk costume and Hulk Hands.

We visited Madam Tussaud’s last weekend, so you can imagine his excitement when he spotted Hulk.

He was a little wary at first, studying Hulk to see if he actually moved, but was soon happy to pose for a photo with the huge beast.

I have been a Chelsea FC fan ever since hubby introduced me to the delights of football when we met 16 years ago.

We don’t go to matches as often as we would like these days as it makes for a very expensive day out, especially if you add the kids into the mix.

Last weekend we went to Madam Tussauds and you can imagine my excitement when I spotted Jose Mourinho, although sadly he refused to pucker up for me…….

How rude!

Last week we went to Marwell’s Sunset Party in the Park.

The park was full of interesting creatures to see and photo opportunities.

My kids often see a #satcap opportunity before I do and here is Isaac doing his best pose!

Saturday is Caption Day – 14th June 2014

Last night we were lucky enough to be invited to Marwell’s Sunset Party in the Park

This year’s event had a Dinosaur twist where we got to see the all new Rise of the Dinosaurs event where we saw the dinosaurs come to life with brilliant animatronics and noises.

Being able to see the animals at sunset and enjoy the special talks was brilliant and the kids had a whale of time, with the dinosaurs being the biggest hot of the night.

Saturday is Caption Day – 22nd June 2014

It was Abbey’s 21st Birthday yesterday and we went out for a meal at our Zizzi’s.

The little ones were on their best behaviour for about an hour and then it all went down hill with

  • balloon jousting
  • balloon bouncing
  • balloon chase

you get the idea!

Despite being on an upper level which we had to ourselves it was starting to get out of hand so we decided to show them some science experiments using Sebastian and his hair.

The kids soon discovered that they could make his hair stand on end using the balloon which kept them amused for ages (sorry Sebby)

With that in mind, here is my #satcap for this week – do you best (or worst)
