Project 365 2021 – Week Forty One and Forty Two

I am not sure where the last two weeks have gone, but I have barely had time to blog. Things are changing here, with clubs starting up again and nights moving around. Eliza is now in Scouts with Isaac and Sebby has moved up to Cubs. Eliza has also started Branksome Surf Life Saving, Parkour and Synchro, so we are back to the juggle. COVID is big news here, with kids dropping like flies in both Sebby and Eliza’s class, thankfully it seems to have avoided us but I have a feeling it is only a matter of time now. …

Project 365 2021 – Week Forty

This week I finally got my car back after its MOT fail. I cannot say I enjoyed doing battle with the bus as it is so unreliable, but it seems to be cheaper than running my old car. There have been a number of COVID cases in Eliza and Sebby’s school this week, so we have all started doing Lateral Flow Tests again, to be safe. Project 365 2021 – Week Thirty Nine

How is it October already! It has been a bit of a nightmare week, with my car failing its MOT and the realisation that the already rubbish bus service that once was, is worse than ever, despite promises that it would improve with the new housing developments that are springing up locally. Here is our week: Sunday 26th September My car is due its MOT tomorrow and having a service too, so I know that I won’t be able to pick Isaac up from school. We have been saying for a while that Isaac is now old enough to cycle …

Project 365 2021 – Week Thirty Eight

With the excitement of her residential well and truly over, the hunt for the perfect secondary school has started for Eliza and our first couple of open days. My car has been giving me trouble this week, needing an AA call out and three new tyres. Fingers crossed it passes its MOT next week as I cannot afford any more issues. I have also been poorly this week with a bad cold and cough. Thankfully not COVID related, but it has left me feeling wiped out. Here is our week: Sunday 19th September Over the summer I promised the kids …
