Sebby’s 8th Birthday Party at Kids on Quadz, Bournemouth

Sebby has been planning his birthday party since he missed out on one last year, thanks to lockdown. We had been looking at activities online when we spotted Kids on Quadz parties in Bournemouth and from the moment he saw a video of it, he was sold! We had booked it for his actual birthday, but in true COVID style, I got pinged by my app and had to isolate for 10 days. Thankfully, the guys at Kids on Quadz moved our booking to a new date with no issues at all. Sebby’s other love is Grogu (Baby Yoda) and …

Review: Lunch at The Greyhound Inn, Corfe Castle

One of our favourite days out locally is to Corfe Castle and if we are not climbing the castle itself, we will be finding somewhere which overlooks it for a bracing walk and a fabulous photo opportunity. An evening at Hollywood Bowl – Tower Park

With restrictions easing, we have been looking at activities we can all do as a family this half term. Ten pin bowling is great all round fun whether you’re with family or friends and we were invited to go to Hollywood Bowl, at Tower Park, Poole. We last visited for Sebby’s birthday back in 2016, so was hoping to see some improvement in all our skills. Of course, some things have changed and there are hand-sanitiser stations at the entrance and on each bowling station, screens to separate visitors and encourage social distancing, mask wearing is compulsory for adults and …
