Cybher – The day

Sat in the dim lights of the ballroom we sat waiting for the conference to begin, we were all having a lovely chat before it was time to start. An emotional and slightly nervous geekisnewchic welcomed us and introduced us to the panel and we were off. Firstly there was a discussion on the future of blogging, which brought about much debate around sponsored posts and whether you can earn money from blogging.  This then moved on to a talk on the Darker side of Blogging which definitely gave me food for thought. Crabbing at Mudeford Quay

A few weeks ago I took my kids for a walk around the place where I used to live as a child – Mudeford Quay, near Christchurch in Dorset. It is a very popular location, with a beach hut currently up for sale for over £145,000 (yes really).  One of the draws of the area is the opportunity to go Crabbing and whilst we were there the boys were fascinated by crabs that everyone had caught. Have you ever though about joining the National Trust? We joined in 2010 and haven’t looked back since.  The kids love exploring the countryside and beaches, and many of the National Trust sites run events, especially during school holidays.  My personal …

Family Frolics – A trip to the Seaside

The lovely @Multiplemummy has come up with a wonderful linky that comes out every Friday. Being caught up in modern day life we often forget what fun we have had with the kids during the week so it’s a wonderful way of documenting an activity or trip you have done with them that week.  For more information go here:  http://multiplemummy.com/blog/family-frolics-1/ Here is my Family Frolic for this week: Living where we do, we often take the local attractions for granted but this Sunday the weather was so mild and sunny that we decided that a trip to the beach was …
